Samsung goes to the 30 nanometer RAM memory

You recognize NMS when it comes to processors and graphics cards. They are a crucial step in any current component, and that through evolution the internal composition is becoming smaller and involves a set of improvements: less heat, lower power consumption while somewhat higher performance.

Samsung has recently succeeded in reaching RAM 30 nm, assuming a certain advantage over previous models of RAM that were made in 40, 50, 60 and even 80 nanometers. This classic will impact we advanced earlier, as lower energy consumption - and therefore greater autonomy for laptops - and also less heat and more performance. Also improve the capacity of the RAM, so it would not be unreasonable to begin to see modules of 8 and 16 GB will be available shortly. A little? Well, we are not so sanguine over the coming years. For now confirmed that will be selling a 4 GB DDR3 module in 30 nm and intended for laptops. So far no details on modules for desktops.

We must also note that the DDR4 RAM, the new generation has, for several years of research and it is expected that technical specifications are complete in late 2011, possibly reaching the market in late 2012 or early as 2013. In fact Samsung is itself one of the leading researchers in the future new generation of random access memory.
